Look up Today's Date & Return Cell Value

I have a workbook where in spreadsheet "Data" I have columns with a date range and corresponding cell data. I want to transfer this information into a daily summary worksheet but am having trouble with the formula.

I want to look up "today's date" and get it to return the data that is in a cell under this date column in the "Data" worksheet then put it into the "DailySummary" sheet.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction.

Hi,

I have attached the spreadsheet - on the "datasheet" I am wanting it to pick up the information for today's date and populate the "daily snapshot" sheet.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thank you so much it works perfectly!!

Just one other thing if I may ask, I'm trying to get it to also look at the month to date (MTD) and year to date (YTD) figures, so the formula would need to reference the current month and also the current year. Could you please assist with this, I really appreciate the help.
