Excel 2007 : look up and report from 1 sheet to another

Ok here goes............

on sheet 3, i have a list in column A of item numbers and in column B the prices.
on sheet 2, i want to enter the item numbers starting in column B and a running total entering into Row 14 per column.

ive included a workbook to look at

(as an addition how do i keep the 0 on the front of numbers)

What do you mean by "running total"? Total of what? Do you mean a count of the number of items in each column? If so, in B14 put

=COUNT(B3:B12)

and copy to the right.

Or do you mean a total of the cost of the items in each column? Then you want something like the attached. I was unable to figure out how to do this with just a formula (I tried an array formula and SUMPRODUCT, but neither seemed to work as expected with a VLOOKUP smack in the middle). So I created a "shadow" sheet that looks at Sheet2 to do the lookups and totals, then Sheet2 references it for the totals. The shadow sheet has to have the same layout as Sheet2.
