    Angry Tool Bar Buttons/Menu Items

I have two workbooks that I use constantly - both extensive business models. I put into the older one a "Custom Menu Item" that links to a Macro that takes me to a critical data input page from any sheet in the workbook. I have the same item in the new workbook. My issue is that when I open the new workbook on its own, Excel instantly opens the older one before the macro is run. I don't want the old workbook to open when I'm working exclusively in the new one.
    How to I fix this?
Alternatively - how do I edit the macro link to a Custom Menu Item?

Have you added the menu manually? It's best to add them using code

    AddMenu.zip
    Hope that helps.

I did add manually - but now that it's there - what do I do?

If the menu is opening the other file then it's trying to access the code in that file. Attach the workbook
