Hi there, I've been using vlookup to try and find what is not on two reports I have.... not sure what I'm doing wrong because it just marks everything like if both reports have the same info. but that's not right.... I can't post because its confidential info. Not sure if there is another formula I can use???
Invent a NON-sensitive sample workbook showing us your problem. Same type of data, just make up the values.
Post that.

Just need to figure out how to mark those that are in common on those two sheets...
I would use this formula:
=ISNUMBER(MATCH(A2, Sheet2!A:A, 0))
