    Sort out the multiple occurrence and sum up the value

    Hi all,
    I'm working on this customer list which contain Customer number, their ID and their total spending per day.
    For example, if customer A spend 5 times at this outlet, It will report 5 transactions. I would like to sort out the multiple spending of one customer into one row and also add up total spending of that customers of that month.

    Hi,

    You could do this quickly by using a pivot table. Since all the dates are for the same month, just add Member No to the Row Field section and Total Spend to the Data Item section.

    If the data spanned multiple months then you could either use page fields ot additional row fields to group the data by month. See attached.
