    If Statement Help

    Hi,

I'm trying to do an if statement for a cost per sale but having problems.

    The basic forumla is

    =cost/sale

However certain groups on my stock error haven't sold anything. So rather than displaying the error #DIV/0! I want it to return 0.

    Any ideas?

    Re: If Statement Help

    One simple way:

    =IF(sale=0,0,cost/sale)
Where there is a will there are many ways.
