    CountIf Function

I am trying to create a Countif formula where:

-Count the number of cells where F = Yes
-AND the date in I is > than the date in H

I have tried it several ways and thought I had it, but I am having trouble now.

Sorry if this is a novice question.

    Re: Countif Function Help

    Try SUMPRODUCT, something like this

    =SUMPRODUCT((F2:F100="Yes")*(I2:I100>H2:H100))

    adjust ranges as required

Thanks for the attempt, but that returned a "False" response rather that the number of cells where H > I

Did you use that exact formula? It wouldn't normally return FALSE, I'd expect a number (possibly zero)

Yeah, I actually copied and pasted the exact formula because it applied to the worksheet perfectly.

UPDATE: Nevermind. I realized that I actually pasted the formula twice.
