Hi Experts
Last time I got awesome help from you on my problem with calculation of price difference between parts with and without different option... Thanks again!
This time I am looking for a calculation of the total price of a part number in a cell or as a “pop up” window. I would like to make a price list available for customer service with the goal that they can just enter a part number and they will be able to receive a total price for this part number.
It sounds easy but it is a little more complicated.
The price of a part number is a calculation of 6 individual prices by locations (11 digits, 6 locations) considering a classification of the part number, where the first digit indicates the classification. The reason that this price list has locations is because I am also using it in Access.
The ultimate goal would be to have maybe a “pop up” window coming up, where the customer service can enter a part number but if this is too complicated, maybe they can just enter the part number into a cell in the price list.
I have attached the price list. The part number's first letter indicates the classification. Each location indicates the digit of the part number so that the summary of prices for each location will be the total price.
Position 2 of the part number should be ignored as it is not price relevant but exist in the part number that has been entered.
I hope my explanation here makes sense to you....
Many thanks already for all your help in advance!
