Excel 2010 - grouped sheets sorting

Hi all,

I've been searching everywhere for an answer to this but have thus far been unsuccessful in coming up with one -

In earlier versions of Excel (pre-2010) i have been able to group a workbook full of sheets and sort and filter them all at the same time. In 2010 when i group a few identicle sheets with different data together, i'm unable to sort the data (as in the sort & filter button is greyed out)... also worth noting is that i can sort the sheets in the same fashion if i do it one sheet at a time.

any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

When you group sheets you cannot sort the data in it.

Or you meant sheet sorting(re-arrange the sheet in descending/ ascending order)?

nah... i meant sort the data. I could have sworn i could do it in early versions. Man... must be going crazy.
