    Changing colour of calculation results

I am calculating income versus expenses monthly in excel. I want to show positive results in black and negative results in red. Is there an easy way to go about this?

Highlight the cells you want affected, then right click on one of the cells. Pick Format Cells, Number, and the either Number or Currency. Under Negative Numbers, some of the entries should be in red. Pick one, set your number of decimal places and check or uncheck the comma separator box, and click OK.
