Fit All Columns on One Page

I have an Excel 2010 worksheet with 11 columns and over 100 rows. I want to print it on legal size paper with all columns fitting on each page. When I use the scaling feature in File > Print to select "Fit All Columns on One Page," I get left and right margins greater than 2" on the printed pages even though the margins are set at 0.25".

What's causing the extra wide margins and how can I get rid of them. This same issue was a problem with this worksheet in Excel 2003 also.

Your printer might be doing it. You also need to make sure the zoom isn't manually set (delete any percentage in the relevant box). You also need to define the print area properly - use print preview view.

Printing in Excel is a pain in the backside I'm afraid.
