Sum a column with multiple variables

I have column C that has about 40 different names in the cells... Each cell obviously has a different name but the same 40 names throughout 200 rows. I have column L with amounts.

I was wondering if anyone had a quick way to group the names in column C to sum the totals?

    Thanks.

Use a Pivot Table - intro. link in signature.

If you want to use Formulae then consider SUMIF.
