How do you use a name/names to generate a number?
I need a formula that if a name is input to a cell a specific number (linked to that name) appears at the side of the cell. I know i will need a list of the names used, and the specific numbers allocated to that name, but struggling to make it work, havent got very far at all!!!

The program is for a Tug of War team, where it enters different teams in weight classes, and the team is made up of 8 men. Different men are used in each class to to get up as close as possible to the weight. The program is needed as now members are weighed individually not as a team as previously.

    Thanks in Advance
