on filtering show whole merged cells

Hi fellows, I'm getting crazy about it! I've several columns w/data, but in some I need to place more than one row, so to "index" these rows to a single line (mean shipment event #) I merge in the first column (A) as much row as I need (normally 4 or 5). So when I do activate filter to consult for shipment event # (1,2,3 etc) I only get the info of one single line throughout the columns!!! What I want is to have all the info related with that shipment event, which has more rows filled in several columns (as containers nr., container types and so on). Is that possible? No VB pls.

    Beforehand, thanks for the help.

You can't filter with merged cells, I would suggest that you forget merged cells exist & never use them
    Hope that helps.
