Hi Guys
Any suggestions on how to format a single cell to look like a 3D button. I need to place several of these in adjacent cells. I have excel 2000. I believe that 2010 has this facility but I dont have access to it!
Thanks

Sure - Im working on 2000 at the office (hence the no access comment), but 2010 at home. I do occasionally post a query from home. I would like to comply with the rules - what is the requirement?
You can create the effect by shading the cell and borders a bit like in the attached.

Thanks for clarifying
maybe 2000 work & 2010 Home
Hi Domski
Thats great, however, if I copy the format to an adjacent cell, it looses the 3D look. Is there an alternative?
Sorry, I think that's about the best you can do without using actual buttons off the Forms toolbar.

Thanks Dom for your help
Does it have to be a cell, can you not use a shape?
I have not got xl2000 at work but is there not a button shape, Bevel, as there is in xl2003.
Thank you Andy - never thought of that. Yes 2000 does have the Bevel autoshape
