Adding weekly consumption data to spreadsheet. What order should one add data input, the top or the bottom?
I got a spreadsheet where i report consumption and so on several times a month.
Colum A consists of dates.
There are several sheets in my spreadsheet-book that alle take info from the consumption sheet and does calculations based on the input from the data from the different dates.
My question is what is thought of as good spreadsheet use when it comes to setup of this type of spreadsheet.
Should one hade whe newest date on top of the spreadsheet or should one have the oldest registring on top and the newest ones to be added underneath.
This question allso goes for the other sheets that sorts theyr calculations by the same dates as in the consumption sheet.
The positive side on going ofr the first option (new data on the top) is that I will allways get all the info on top of my spreadsheet and can add headings at my will and they will all show up good at the sime time as the
newest data will show up.
The positive side of choosing the last alternative (new data on the bottom) is that I dont have to add new rows when I add new data, and I dont have to add new rows on top on the other sheets aswell.
So, is there any thoughts around this?
Is there a good-work-method-setup og a textbook-setup on what way one should add new data to a spreadsheet like this?
