    table paste options

I have a table formated in Excel. When I try to copy and paste (special) it into Word, I can't get it right - either the row/columns heights change or, if I choose picture, it retains the down arrow in the top cells (to be used if I were filtering). I know this is a dumb question, but I can't figure it out. I just want it to look like it does in Excel except centered and not coming off the page and without the down arrows in the top row.

    Re: table paste options

I always use ctrl+c and ctrl+v. Then I go the bottom right corner of my table in Word and click on picture. That always keeps the formatting for me.
