    financial calendar formula

    Hi

I have created a calendar that starts from the half hour mark and works up to the year. However when I create the formula for what month we are in, it does it based on the normal calendar, however I need a financial calendar.

    For example
30.08.10 when you apply the formula =text it would say this is August but it falls in September.

    Any Ideas?

I have included what I have done so far. Sheet 1 is me working out how to complete this and sheet two shows what i would apply it to, i have started doing this manually, but as you can imagine it can get boring quickly!

    Hi sput_sput
Try to show formulas on your sheet. You have mostly formulas but some are simply text. Perhaps you haven't applied the formula down the whole column so this is why you are confused.

    Re: financial calendar formula

Currently I do this manually. So for example I write the formula to calculate the month, depending on the week commencing date, however for some weeks although they say 28.02.2011 the formula shows this as February, but actually it falls into the month of march. So that is why I there are some cells with the formula in and some with text
