Attached is a sample of the spread sheet and the cells in question are highlighted in purple, red and orange. I added a few notes and examples within the spread sheet as well. The Orange cells will actually be on another tab, however, for the example I added it all to one tab for simplicity.
I have a pricing model where I enter a width and length of an item and it than looks into another table which holds cylinder sizes and it than inputs a "best fit" on that cylinder based on the length and it adjusts the spacing of the gap. I am building a similar model, however, it doesn't have cylinders to fit on. There is a minimum sheet length of 16" and a maximum sheet length of 20" with a minimum gap between items is .75". I would like to enter a length and than the spread sheet will atutomatically calculate the best fit in that 16" - 20" length range and adjust the space accordingly.
There are examples in the spread sheet but for example a 3.5" length item would be best put on a sheet of 17" and a gap of .75" 4 images around. The object is to get the best fit and minimize the gap between items as long as it doesnt fall below .75"
