    Finding and deleting duplicates

    Hey Guys & Gals,

I have compiled a list of address with:

    A1 Name B1 Address C1 City D1 State E1 Zip

I have some duplicates, is their an easy way find and delete them?

    Thanks for the help.

in f1 put =a1&b1&c1&d1 in g1 put =countif($f$1:f1,f1)>1 drag both down then filter g1 on TRUE
    delete all

Also - besides making a concatenated index like Martin suggests above, the newer versions of Excel (2007 and 2010) have this (Delete Duplicates) as a normal feature.

    Re: Finding and deleting duplicates

    I apologize, you lost me. F1 =a1&b1&c1&d1 --- G1 =countif($f$1:f1,f1)>
I dragged both down. How do I filter G1 on true?

    Thanks for the help
