Excel 2007 : how do I work out the amount of hours between two times?

    Question how do I work out the amount of hours between two times?

    I need to keep a sleep diary with total hrs and minutes on, but what formula do I use to calculate the total hours slept?

    Cell A2 being from 08:00pm cell A3 being until 08:00am What will the formula be in cell A4?

    Try this:

    =(A3 - A2 + (A2 > A3)) * 24

    ...format that cell as general.
