    Formulas inside Excel Charts

    Hi

Does anyone know how to control a Chart with a formula?

I have an excel document which has 6 six sheets: a home page, chart page and 4 data pages.

On the chart page i have 9 charts which each connect to data on the data pages. However i also have two drop down boxes. When some changes the drop down boxes i need the charts to refresh with the data relvent to that data.

Does anyone know how to do this without using VBA?

    Thanks

    Kind regards

    Jeskit

Not without seeing your workbook to be honest. You can maybe achieve this using lookups or conditional formula but without knowing more it's impossible to say. Have you thought about using pivot charts?

Is there any reason why you don't want to use VBA?

    Re: Formulas inside Excel Charts

    Hi

I have uploaded a verison as on two of the pages there is important data so i have deleted some bits.

I am not very good with formula's, i am better at VBA however i can not use this as it will cause problems so i need to do it in VBA.

    Thanks Jeskit

Edit: Hi i ahve just added a new version of Book2. I forgot to explain what i am trying to do.

In DataSheet tab is multiple dealer columns and there is 3 tables spilt with an orange line. What i need to do is when the dealer name dropdown box is changed then the data the charts are looking at moves to column of the dealername teh dropdown box is listing.

And when the data dropdown box is changed i need the data the charts are looking at to change so it is looking at what ever dealer is the dealername dropdown box and look up the data in Mth, Ytd or R12 which ever the data dropdown box is looking at.
    I hope that makes sense
