    "Normalising" data

    Hi,

I have a dataset made up from two different sized groups of sales teams. Each sales team experienced a performance peak mid year.

I'd like to compare the impact of the performance peaks against eachother. As one group is 250 people and one is 80, I'm comparing apples to bananas in some respects. Of course I can show this as a percentage but ideally I'd like to show both results on a line graph with a "normalised" pre - performance peak period. Any clues on what kind of formulae I might use to achieve this?

I've lost sleep over this so any help is much appreciated!

I think that might be my best way forward here, thanks for your input.
