vlookup field not showing in a pivot table...?

Hi, I've got a table which contains a couple of columns within the table that are populated by vlookups from another sheet. When I create a pivot table on this table it doesn't give me the option to display the columns populated by the vlookups. Is this right or can I fix it so it does? thanks, Neil

I assume your column has a heading and you've checked the source range for the pivot includes the column?

A workaround would be to copy the source data and paste special the values elswhere then use this data for the pivot.
