    Conditional Formatting for 1 year, 2 years and 3 year expirations

    I am at a loss,....

    I have a table that shows training dates (the date they took the class). I would like the cell to change colors when that date has expired. Some expire every year, some every 2 years and some every 3 years. How do I go about doing this?

    Use a formula in the CF. Something like:

    =TODAY()>EDATE(B1,12)

    for a 1 year expiration of a date in B1

    change the 12 to 24 and 36 for 2 and 3 year expirations

    If I interpret your sample correctly you want to check for dates in col C that are more than 1 year old, check for dates in col D that are more than 2 years old and check for dates in col E that are more than 3 years old.

    Based on that - try the attached:

    Question Re: Conditional Formatting for 1 year, 2 years and 3 year expirations

    I appreciate your help, but I am still running into an issue. Sometime it hightlight the date correctly, then another cell will have the same date and not be highlighted.
