Hello,

I have been working with Excel for years and have never had this problem before until I upgraded to 2010. When I would create functions I would alway use "" to add the double quote into a string instead of the string container.

Example String: Hello "there" dude.

Function: ="Hello ""there"" dude."

Now when doing this in my function it is returning - Hello ""there"" dude.

I am doing this type of string concatenation for 1000+ rows and having multiple places that need the quotes around it, but instead I'm getting two double quotes.

Has anyone come across this before with 2010? Is there a new setting for this? I've used 2003 and 2007 and never had this problem before. I'm even referencing a column with a double quote in it and when I copy and paste values it gives me two double quotes instead of one.

Please help!

Derek
