Excel 2007 : Chart Series Names

Folks,

I have a vey basic chart that has about 5 data points on it. I know that you can display the series name on the chart and by default it reads, "series 1"

Is there a way to assign each data point a "ID" number or name so that you are able to see what "ID" is acually being charted?

you have not supplied enough detail about the chart or your data.

But maybe this addin will address your issue, it will allow you to link data labels to cells to display whatever information is required.
