    separate hours minutes seconds?

    I have a program that shows the clock on a spreadsheet. This is in h:mm:ss format.

    How can I separate this?

    I would like h, min, and sec in separate cells. Can I do that?

    =HOUR(A1)
    =MINUTE(A1)
    =SECOND(A1)

    where the time is in cell A1
