    Line graph displaying wrong values

    Hi!

As you can see from the screenshoot the actual values inside of the graph are not the ones I want. I want the values from date 2010->2011 like the X-axis says but it keeps showing the 2005-2006 values whenever I hoover above the line.
Feels like I've tried everything and I got no idea why it ´works this way, very strange. When I change the X-axis to example 2005->2011 the value will increase from 2005->2008. No matter what I do it always starts on 2005.

I got a macro that changes the X-axis of the graph, the min and max value so you can see different times. Still it stays on 2005 and this is a major problem. The main idea is to be able to change intervals to see trends but since the value is the same the entire team it crashes.

I need this to work :<
    Any help greatly appriciated!
    Thank you!

Re: Line graph displaying wrong values

I tried but the graph alone is 3.33mb and is to big to upload and uploading sites are blocked :/

    This is really strange!
The data table goes down from 20 (2005) to 3500 (2010). The source-data has 20->30000 (since new data files are inserted every day). I tried changing sourca data from 20->300 (2006 ends around 300) for all series and suddenly the graph went away (same X-Axis). When adjusting the X-Axis to only show 2005->2006 and the graph now shows.

If I keep the X-axis for 2010->2011 Nothing shows if sourca-data is 20->300 and 2005->2006 shows if source-data is 20->30000

As you can see from the example (Don't update!) the graph values does not correspond to the X-Axis.

    Thanks!

Are all the date values true date values? If the axis is Time series and any one of the data values is not a date the axis will revert to category.

Not a lot more to suggest without seeing a workbook rather than an image.

Haha wow I found the problem, thank you! One of the 3500 data values was entered wrong, instead of
    2006-04-12
    it said
    206-04-12.
It was on 450 therefore if I selected anyting below it (etc 21) as starting number it would pick 21->449 since it was the only true dates, aka 2005->2006 instead of the actual values.

Amazing how much pain one persons misstype can cause you, haha.
Wouldnt have found it if not for your "if any one of the data values" answer, perfect
    Thankssss!!! :D
