Extract a string of text between certain words

i'm trying to to extract strings in between certain words or brackets. I'll give you some examples from a typical cell.

Extract the start (00:00 02/01) and end time (00:00 03/01) and duration (xx), i'm also trying to extract what the string is between WHY and HOW and HOW and Initial Incident description

A template is used when entering the data into the tool, I then extract the data to a spreadsheet to do numerous other calculations.

Unfortunately i can't change how its entered i.e order, but can influence how its entered ie 00:00 16/01/2010 etc

Appreciate this might not be possible, but any help is appreciated

Are you saying that ALL of the example text is in a single cell in the worksheet? Also, how are you extracting to the spreadsheet?

Sorry yes, all of it is a single cell, its an automated report produced by a tool similar to Crystal reports, unfortunately i don't have access to that.
