Macro in excel workbook not working.

Hi Gurus,

I'm creating a macro in a work book, to copy the formulas in cells of a row into rows below it.
I have selected the Cells which have formulas and dragged them to the rows to which I want to copy the formulas.
The formulas are copied into the rows correctly, but the values of original cells also copied along with the formulas.

When i run the macro i'm seeing the same original values in all rows(the values which I copied).
but when i save workbook onto the desktop looks like the the formulas in the workbook are working .
I'm able to save with workbook with the updated cell values. My question is why the cells were not updated when I run the macro. How can I resolve this issue.

Please advise.

And your sure your excel options --> Formulas --are set to automatic?
