    Help with right angle triangle

Hello - I am looking for someone to help me with what seems like should be a very easy formula.

I know the ADJACENT in inches and I know one angle in degrees plus the 90degrees. I would like to know the HYPOTENUSE in inches

    What is the excel formula.

    Thanks
    Rob

Hi Rob and welcome to the Excel Help Forum.

    Read http://zonalandeducation.com/mmts/tr...tTriangle.html

You will want to study the Cosine formula.
Also you need to know that Excel works in Radians and not degrees.

Give me a real problem with numbers and I'll do an example.
One test is worth a thousand opinions.
