    Exclamation Macro With Changing Data

    I need a macro to help with some project copying and pasting Costs from one spreadsheet(always changing, I pull from a website each week) to another spreadsheet.

    I just want to know if that was possible.
    For example there are project codes
    A1 = project codes
    F29= total expenses, then of course more projects as you go down.

    I want to collect what is in F29 and paste it onto another spreadsheet. Is there a way to automatically match up the charge code, QC it, copy F29 then transfer that to a different spreadsheet? Keep in mind the spreadsheet will have more projects in the future.

    Thanks.

    Re: Macro With Changing Data

    To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

    If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

    Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
    Hope that helps.

    Most things are possible with some thought and effort.

    It's difficult to know, from your description, exactly what is needed.

    I suggest you post a sample workbook and indicate before and after requirements.
