Current Status Indicator based on today's date (Help needed)

Hello everyone,

I am struggling to get this incorporated in my excel tool for work and need your help.

Basically I am trying to find out what step in the project each employee is currently in based on todays date. Example is attached.

The script should be able to compare each steps date with todays date and display the "step name" in the source cell. This may be super simple for some of you but I could not figure it out. Please help out.
