Excel 2007 : Selected Cell Borders / Gridlines

I am trying to create a sheet that is part gridlined

I want the top part with no gridlines and a particular section with gridlines. I only want the gridlines to print in this particular section.

At the moment I have all of the sheet without gridlines.

How do I get only a particular section gridlined?

Turn off grid lines for the sheet and format the area in question with borders.
