Countif, Max If, Sumif with date

    I have three issues

    1. Highlighted in pink - I am working in Excel 2003 which doesn't have countifs. I want to count the cell that are in district 1 and are resolved. Can countif be nested or can I get the results with an if statement?

    2. Highlighted in orange - I came up with a formula to get an average but I want to have it average just records from the last 6 months. What do I need to add to this formula? =SUMIF(FY11District,$A8,FY11RDaysOut)/COUNTIF(FY11District,$A8)

    3. Highlighted in yellow - Trying to get Max and Min number that meet a criteria. Can't find a formula that will do that.

Thanks for your help and direction.

There appears to be a problem with your defined names. Go to the name manager and resolve all the ones with #Ref errors.

    I've made the correction.

I no longer need the information for the 6 month formula. I've decided to take it out of the worksheet.

I am having problems with the formula in F3 for the corresponding building. There is only one entry that has 169 but it is returning a #N/A. Should I be using something other than a V-Lookup?

It works except that it reads the building number on the next row rather than the same row.

In the example ND0046 is the answer I get and it is correct.

In the original workbook I am getting CO0527. What would cause this?

I'm looking at your original workbook and I see #N/A in F3. Where are you getting the CO0527 from?

What you have is the example workbook which is copied over from the original workbook which is why the #n/a keeps appearing becuase it is trying to read the original workbook. it won't let me break the links.
