sum conditional formula problem

Here's my formula:

=SUM(IF(($F2:$F287="United States")*($G2:$G287="Active"),I2:I287))

I'm trying to modify this to sum only non-USA and non-Canada countries ... ie:

=SUM(IF(($F2:$F287<>"United States" or "Canada)*($G2:$G287="Active"),I2:I287))

But I've got something incorrect here.

=SUMPRODUCT(F2:F287<>"United States")*(F2:F287<>"Canada")*(G2:G287="Active")*(I2:I287)

is returning a null value

Since you have 2008, you can probably use SUMIFS

=SUMIFS(I2:I287,$F2:$F287,"<>United States",$F2:$F287,"<>Canada",$G2:$G287,"Active")

and your original could be made to:


=SUMIFS(I2:I287,$F2:$F287,"United States",$G2:$G287,"Active")
