    Need Support with Excel Validations

i need to develop a script which does data validation in excel. This will enable me to ensure there are no typos and case (sentence case) is maintained in the excel. Also i wanted to develop some validations using drop downs to decrease the time required for data entry. This is for school and college records hence i need to standardize all the records for which the validation will be required. I convert the files into CSV and then upload it on my database.

Here's some help with Data Validation

Some code could be written to ensure the correct format, but you need to provide an example workbook
    Hope that helps.

Not sure if this is clear but I need a cell to be auto populated or auto checked based on a drop down list. I need fields to be available or grayed out based on the same drop down list.

Use VLOOKUP with Data Validation based on the selection, there's an example in the VLOOKUP explanation on my site.

Graying out could be done with Conditional Formatting or VBA
