I am building a spreadsheet for electrical costs. in cells 1-3 I have the month begining(in kwh) and month end in kwh and put the difference in cell 3. In Cell 4 I would like write a test that goes as followes:

For everything up to 1000 Kwh = Kwh * .0882 ---> in cell 4
For everything greater than 1000 kwh = kwh*10693 ---> in cell

Put the sum of cell 4 and 5 in cell cell 6.

Can you show me how to do this?

I'm not sure that your title complies with Rule #1 of the Forum Rules.

Could you amend it to something more descriptive - maybe something like:
"Sum of split cell value multiplied by two rates"
