Attempting to pull data from one worksheet onto another worksheet in the same workbook

Hello Everyone,

I need your help :-)

I am attempting to pull data from one worksheet onto another worksheet in the same workbook.
I have a worksheet (master log) that's compiled of "Quotes". There are three different status that are applied to each quote. "Quoted" "Issued" "Completed"
As i change the status of a quote to "Quoted" "Issued' or "Completed" i want that quote to appear on a separate spreadsheet in the workbook titled "Quoted" "Issued" or "Completed"

So every time i enter a quote onto the "master log" it with populate on its corresponding spreadsheet as the status is changed.

Hi Sunshine,

Welcome to the Forum!

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

I started to put my data under the Norcal tab and i checked the "Issued" tab but the only information that transferred over was the first 4 columns. I would like to have the entire row transferred over. "Site name" "SOW" "PO#" "PO Date" "Materials" "Labor" "Equipment" etc...

Oops, my mistake its working :-)

But i do have one glitch...

When i change the status to Issued the quote goes onto the "Issued" tab, once the quote is completed i change the status to "Completed" and it moves to the "completed" tab but still remains on the "issued" tab as well. It should no longer appear on the "Issued" Tab.

I keep getting the follwoing error when attempting to add a new quote on row 5:
"Run-time error'1004": Application-defined or object-defined error"

Thank You!!! it's fixed...

But now...

I put in 6 quotes... status are all "quoted". When i went to the quoted tab the only info that shows up are the first 4 columns.... "Site name", "SOW", "PO#" etc... are not on the worksheet

Also, when i changed two quotes to Completed and one to Issued.... All 6 still appear on the "Quoted" sheet.

It didn't work. Unless I am doing something wrong lol.

I attached the book again. Only the first 4 columns show up on the "Quoted" sheet and once the status is changed, the quote should no longer appear on the "quoted" sheet.

Your "Norcal" sheet has only Columns B-F and they all show up

I added PO numbers and PO Dates to the Norcal worksheet and it did not carry over to the corresponding sheets

Hey xladept,

I typed in a new quote on the norcal sheet, on line 8. I checked the "quoted" sheet and the information did not carry over.
I also, changed the status to "Issued" on row 6 and added some data to columns "I-L" and the data did not carry over to the "Issued" tab.

Am I doing something wrong here??? Please Help :-)

You need to type the status last - have you been doing that?

I just typed Quoted in D8 and it worked?

ok, now it works. but if i delete the information from that row on the norcal sheet, it still appears on the corresponding sheet.
