    countif problems

I am having difficulty with a countif formula, specifically a cell reference within the equation.

The solution is correct (121) with this formula:

    Cell K79 is

I would really like to use a cell reference within the equation then I can drag the same formula down many rows, without having to type in the unique date at the end of each equation each time. What should I change?

    Re: countif problems

    Try instead:

    =COUNTIF(MasterList!S$2:S$200,">"&K79)
Where there is a will there are many ways.
