I'm trying to create a list of documents in excel that would act as system to alert me to when each document would be up for review/revision.

The list would include the name of each document, the date it was created, the date it was uploaded to a document control website, the date it is due for review/revision, when the last review/revision was completed, and would contain a link to the actual document.

What I'd like to do, and really this is where I'm having trouble, is to have excel read the date for each individual document that it is due for revision, then communicate with outlook to pop up a reminder (possibly through use of outlook's calander/event reminder) as each document's review date come's up.

Is this even possible? or am I going to have to stick to loading all the dates into my outlook calander..
