    removing names from source help

Hey guys I could really use your help. I have put together a workbook from different sources, and whenever I select the cell I get 'C:\Documents and Settings\E17536\My Documents\[Copy of litas_contacts colin.xls]Contacts'!B2&" "&'C:\Documents " but with the name that I want displayed. I want to be able to removing the sourcing so that its only that name in the box.

Displayed is- "John Smith- Sales Manager"
    in the cell is- "C:\Documents and Settings\E17536\My Documents\[Copy of litas_contacts colin.xls]Contacts'!B2&" "&'C:\Documents"

I can't copy the "John Smith-Sales Manager" anywhere else without getting a REF error.

    Any help? please!

You need to convert the formula to it's actual value. Copy the cell or range, select the destination then

Paste Special >> Values >> OK
