Re: Doesnt_work......why? Trying to show last rows dynamically

You have been around here long enough to know your title is not all that searchable.

Please take a few minutes and adjust your title.

    =INDEX(A:A,MATCH(9.99999999999999E+307,A:A))

Here's a reference you might find interesting.

ok....i updated my title. sorry about that........sometimes when i get this frustrated trying to figure something out that be working........i forget the rules.

i figured out what was wrong with my formula. I am trying to update the last 12 entries in a list. But the list only has 4 values. If i have at least 12 entries my formula works.

    What is the end goal?

The workbook you provided has a formula in G15 which wasn't working and only 4 data points, but what are you doing?

hummmmm. Still have a problem. I have 4 entries..........i dont want to input another 8 bogus values just to get my formula to work. I will have at most 12 entries in the column.

How to get it to display what ever qty of values i have.
