Want to change worksheet data in one tab, and have it also change in another tab

Not sure how to best explain this, so hopefully this makes sense.

Say I have a new worksheet open and I have data or information in rows 1-10 (each field A-P has data) of Tab 1. I want to make a new tab (Tab 2) and only copy rows 1, 5, and 10. Now, I would like the fields to be linked where if I make a change to row 1, 5, or 10 in Tab 1, the values or information is changed in Tab 2 (so I don't have to change the information on both tabs. Is this possible?

Hi reynoldslab and welcome to the forum,

I believe you are wanting the data on Tab 2 to be a formula that simple reflects what is on Tab 1.

    On Tab2 the formula in A1 = Tab1!A1.

    I hope this helps.

    Why duplicate data?
    Hope that helps.

I have a master list on Tab 1, and then subsequent tabs are subsets of the master list.
