    Unable to scroll to ScrollArea limit

    I have my ScrollArea limited to a specific range. The problem is, when enabled and the page is locked, i can not physically scroll down to that limit. I can scroll down part of the way, i can then click the down arrow on the vertical bar area on the right of the screen to gain a few more lines but i still lack about 20 rows that i can not scroll down. If i click in a cell and down arrow my way downward, the screen does not change but i can see in the cell name box the cell address i am in. It will make it down to the limit and stop. Any idea why i can not physically see down that far yet my keyboard action can?

    Hi PY,

    This sounds like a windows sizeing problem. Have you tried to maximize the current workbook/worksheet inside the Excel application. Try double clicking on the window header for the current workbook.

    If that doesn't work then discribe more specifically how you set your ScrollArea Limit. Did you use VBA?
    Can you reset that limit or unlock the page and get to see the cells?
    One test is worth a thousand opinions.

    Re: Unable to scroll to ScrollArea limit

    My windows are maxed out. Here are some sample codes of how i perform the locking/unlocking:

    "Gen_3_Scroll_Lock" = Gen_3!$A$1:$AH$672

    i switched between using the named range and actual range in the code below but it didnt help. When locked, i can only see down to row 645.

    Hy PY,

    I'm not sure I understand the problem. Why don't you unlock the range or simply change the range that is locked.

    See http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/offi...260908239.aspx to see if any of it helps.

    Maybe one of the guru's that knows more about locking can jump in here.

    Re: Unable to scroll to ScrollArea limit

    The main problem is when the scroll area is locked, i should be able to scroll and see all the way down to row 672. Instead, i can keybard down to the 672 line according to the cell address up to but i can only visibly see down to row 645 on the screen.

    Thanks for the responses MarvinP
