Excel 2007 : Reference list of dates and count back 1, 2 or 3 cells

Good morning folks.

God I was up till I don't know when last night messing with me current excel project, I think in the end my tiredness caused more harm than good :s

I have a list of dates (its the race calender of the F1 championship) and what I'd really like is to be able to compare that list of dates to the current date to see which have been completed, then display the 3 most recent dates/races in different cells.

I have attached an example which should hopefully give you an better understanding of what I'm trying to do.

If anyone can help me that would be really brilliant and you'd make my day.

And where are results so you can see which driver/team won the race?

They are on a separate sheet, I've already got everything in place to reference the results, once i know from which races to dynamically check.

But if you prefer to have that data as well i can upload a new example

Okay, I have included an example of the results table on a separate sheet (though the links and formula's for the results table aren't there, but it should be enough to provide an idea of what my intention is.

That is fantastic, its exactly what I needed and more than I expect.
