    Deadline Formulae

    Hi guys, need a bit of help here.

    I've got a formula that I'm working on for a spreadsheet.

    The sheet shows a list of dates etc.

    The formula I have set up currently is:

    =IF(TODAY()>=L2-3,"DUE","CURRENT")
    thats what i got so far, so basically, if the "deadline" is within 3 days the warning will change to "DUE"

    However, is it possible to have this "overidden" if the work has been completed, which would be populated in column O by a date.
    i.e. Completion Date (Column O) = 01/06/11. This would need to be applied to several hundred rows.
    So is there a way to do that, like IF column O has a date then "COMPLETE" not "DUE"?

    Thanks guys.

    Wow, thanks for the quick help guys, that was great!!

    Just going to make this a bit more complicated (for me at least)...

    is the forumla you've given me.

    However,

    1) if the date in the L column is not entered (due to info not being supplied), can this say "current" rather than "due" ??

    2) if the date in the M column (amended due date) is active, it takes presidence over the L column?

    Thanks again guys, leaving rep for ya. =)

    Hi,

    What, with respect to column M, does 'active' mean?
    If the M date is active what should appear?

    Regards

    Re: Deadline Formulae

    Hi,

    The M column would have a date.

    L = due date
    M = amended due date

    so M will not always be filled out unless there are delays etc. to a project
