Find/Replace on unlocked cells in protected sheet

Our worksheet has locked & unlocked cells in the same worksheet.

I wish to perform find/replace on unlocked cells in the sheet.

if i try to do find & replace i'm getting an alert message as "command cannot be executed on protected worksheet".

but i want to perform find/replace only on unlocked cells on protected sheet.

So please help me to get resolve this issue.

but we protect the layout design on user interface(i.e.MS excel) and we want to provide find/replace option on the unlocked cells in protected sheet
So please suggest me how to proceed on the same...
