    Excel Creates Graphs automatically

I have a user that when he leaves his excel open and goes to get a cup of coffee, or anything else, Excel starts creating graphs on its own when he touches any single key. Today we found 74 graphs and a memory use of almost 2 GB of ram. The strange thing is it only happens on his pc. If we open it on another pc, excel does not create the graphs. There are no VB/Macros, but there are many calculations. The user is much more expert with excel than I am and between the 2 of us we can not find out why this is happening.

    Excel 2010 32bit
    Windows 7 32bit

    Thanks in advanced,

    David

    Gremlins?

Could someone, as a joke or maliciously, have added an Add-in? Or created a macro in the personal workbook? I don't reaaly know how that could respond to a key depression, more "thinking out loud"

Thanks for the response TMShucks, but we have verified that there is not vbscript or macros installed. We are at a loss of what to do. It is very weird.

Maybe he just ran a VBS file instead of VBA ?

    Re: Excel Creates Graphs automatically

Does it only happen on the one machine? Or any other machine?
Is it only one particular workbook, or can it be any?
Is it any key depression, or a specific key or key combination?
In the VBE, is there is no evidence of a PERSONAL.XLSB file?
    Definitely no add-ins?
Is there any key-logger software running on the machine?
    Are Windows sticky keys activated?
Has it been virus checked and cleared?

    Regards

TMShucks to respond to you questions,

    1. It happens only on the one machine
    2. Any workbook
    3. It is any key depression after a moment of in use(15 seconds to 30 minutes)
    4. No personal.xlsb file, no macros at all
    5. No key logger or virus on machine(used Kaspersky, Comodo, Spybot ). Checked also cookies and non were harmful (all were known and checked)
    6. Sticky keys are all off and were off.

I am at a loss, if we do not get this worked out the good thing is that I am slowly converting all of our excel workbooks to FileMaker, but this users' workbooks are my last section to do.

Thank you so much for your time!
